How many pictures will we receive?

It really depends on the session that you book! A standard shoot will get you around 120 photos, and a wedding normally gets around 500-800 depending on the package you choose!

How should we dress for our session?

I love love love warm, neutral, and earthy tones. Creamy white always photographs really well, its probably my go to! My advice is to not wear something you wouldn't wear if it wasn't for photos. If you're uncomfortable in it, chances are you won't love having photos done in it.

What’s the best time to have a session?

Most of my sessions start either an hour before sunset or an hour after sunrise so we can get that golden glow. If it's an event (gender reveal, party, bridal shower, etc.) we can talk about time together!

I'm super awkward in photos, how do I pose?

This is my job! In my sessions, I do a lot of prompts and games to get natural, authentic, candid photos. I do a few poses, but most of my photos come from fun prompts to get you and your partner out of your shell. This way, your smiles aren't forced and we eliminate that "awkward smile" you speak of. I will do all the prompting and posing for you.

How long does it take to get my photos back?

Typically, for a standard hour session, it takes me around 2-3 weeks. During the busier season (September-December) it may be closer to 3-4 weeks. Weddings typically take me around 4-6 weeks to edit, however, I send "sneak peaks" within 24 hours of your wedding with around 100 photos, so you'll still have plenty of pictures for the gram and for the fam before your final gallery is completed!

Do you travel?

ummm, absolutely! I do charge a travel fee depending on the distance we're talking! anything over an hour drive from me will have a travel fee. Message me to chat about where your dreaming of taking me, and i'll give you an estimate on the travel fee!

I don't know where to take photos, do you have any locations to use?

Absolutely! When you book with me, I send you my location guide which is packed full of over 15 different and unique locations to choose from around the columbia area. I also have locations available in North Carolina with an added travel fee!

What is your wedding planning process like?

I love this question. I do everything I can to make things go smoothly for you. Me and you will meet up for coffee or lunch, and we'll talk about everything! We will develop a timeline together so everyone knows where to be and when, we'll make a list of every family member you want a photo with, and we'll talk about all of the little and special details for your day. I think it is so important for us to get to know each other well before the wedding. I'll be spending almost every moment of your day with you, so I like to become friends before the big day so you can be more comfortable in front of my camera!
